THE STORY SO FAR...

Sigma has been defeated, and in the aftermath Zero has gone into stasis until such time as his connection to the deadly virus can be decoded.  However in his absence things are gong to hell - Mavericks are spewing crime and violence throughout the city, and Megaman X is unable to cope with the loss of his best friend.  Things are falling apart and if the Hunters don't rally soon then it could spell the end for everyone.  Into this city of rage and despaire comes a figure a figure of the past, the last relic of a time long forgotten.  Could he be the one thing that can turn the tide of battle, or will his presence doom them all?

DATA:     Created in the year 20XX by the late Dr. Wily, A criminal genius, Enker was responsible for some of the periods most violent battles before mysteriously vanishing.  Reappearing 1XX years later, he has been drafted into the Hunters under special supervision in an effort to prove himself a new man.  However a great deal of mistrust and fear still remains.

WEAPON:  Enker's whole body is designed to absorb and redirect energy.  This can then be channeled into blasts of blue light from his hands or used to speed up his internal healing protocols.  However he must first take the damage from the initial attack before it can be redirected anywhere else, leaving him vulnerable.

PERSONA:  Quiet and thoughtful.

ARMOUR:    Gold and Blue.

DATA:     Originally designed as a computer worker, Switch soon extended her talents into hacking.  This brought her to the attention of the Hunters, and she was quickly absorbed into the Tech Department there under the direct command of Alia.  There her talents continued to grow until she was the best in her field.  Assigned to watch over and report on the actions of Enker, she has grown fond of him and the two have a special bon unlike anything previously observed in the Robot's life.

WEAPON:  Officially classed as a 'Handler', Switch is not designed for combat and so is unarmed.

PERSONA:  Happy and Bubbly.

ARMOUR:    Pink.

DATA:     Next to nothing is known about the female warrior known as Sheena.  Employed by the Purists in order to act as a bodyguard for Templer, she craves battle above all else.  Seeking battle with ever stronger opponents and pushing herself to the peek of physical fitness seems to be her aim.  Reports indicate that she has agreed to work for free in exchange for the chance to test herself against Enker in open combat.

WEAPON:  Sheena can create a pulse-wave of energy in the palm of her hand that has the shape of a sphere.  They appear to be somehow electrically charged and are designed to wear the target down in order that she can finish them off in close combat.

PERSONA:  Sharp and forceful.

ARMOUR:    Red and White.

DATA:     A member of the Hunters Technical Devision, Alia heads up the team.  Designed from the outset to be a link between Hunters in the field and HQ, she is the top of her field and has helped X on multiple missions in the past.  Somewhat smitten with the hero, she has taken Switch under her wing and is protective of her.  Alia has issues with the young Reploid handling Enker and believes that he is a danger to those around him.  On numerous occasions the two have been known to bicker and row in public locations.

WEAPON:  Alia is a non-combatant and as such does not have any built-in weapons.  Her training covers basic firearms use in case of emergency.

PERSONA: Professional.

ARMOUR:    Green.

DATA:     The last known creation of the late Dr. Light, X was sealed away beneath the earth throughout the Great Crash was was later discovered by Dr. Cain on a dig.  Unlike previous artificial life, his system was designed to emulate both real emotion and freedom of choice.  Using him as a prototype, Dr. Cain  designed the Reploid class.  When they began to turn Maverick, X joined the Hunters in order to help defeat them and has since become one of their greatest heroes.  Moral to the last, he has become more distant since Zero has gone into cyro, and is questioning his beliefs.

WEAPON:  Like the great Megaman of the Wily Wars, X has a Rock Buster on his right arm that can mirror the attacks of those he defeats in battle.

PERSONA:  Worried and Emotional

ARMOUR:    Blue with white trim.

DATA:     Leader of the Purists, a religious cult that has become active among the Maverick population of late.  Templer is a wild card.  Evidently insane, he has gained great influence and claims that his 'God' has given him a holy crusade to wage against the world.  Responcible for no less than seventeen acts of terrorism and maybe five political assassinations, he is a tactical genius.  At this point it is unknown if he has contracted the Sigma virus or not, but he is classified as highly dangerous.

WEAPON:  Two long blades extending from his elbows of roughly a meter in length are inbuilt into his design.  These he uses in combat as well as a custom built Laser Saber.  As yet no ranged weapon has been seen.

PERSONA:  Focused and driven.

ARMOUR:    Black and silver.
